Sky Sports Racing

Advertising on Sky Sports Racing gives brands access to the definitive destination for horse racing.

Delivering live-action 362 days of the year, Sky Sports Racing is horse racing’s largest TV channel. Featuring meetings in the UK and Ireland such as the St Leger Festival, Irish Champions Weekend and the Punchestown Festival, are all complemented by a whole host of events from around the world.

Sky Sports Racing will allow advertisers to get their brands in front of keen horse racing enthusiasts. As a dedicated channel to horse racing, advertisers can be amongst action from the UK, Ireland, North America and selected events around the world. Advertising on Sky Sports Racing means brands can get involved through spot advertising as well as channel or programme sponsorship.

Sky Sports Racing boasts a stellar presenting team with Alex Hammond, who has spent over 15 years at Sky Sports News, as a full-time lead presenter, while viewers can expect to see former Group 1 winning jockey Freddy Tylicki on a regular basis as a guest analyst. Also joining Freddy Tylicki for regular race analysis are Josh Apiafi, the former head of the Professional Jockeys Association, and Jamie Lynch, who is leaving his post as Chief Correspondent at Timeform to become Sky Sports Racing’s Senior Racing Analyst.

Sky Sports Racing has the rights to 25 UK racecourses with Ascot, Bangor and Chester also joining the channel in March. Internationally the channel has secured rights to racing from France, Hong Kong, the Melbourne Cup Carnival, US Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup.

There will be a new Racing Round Up programme at the end of each day covering results and all the big talking points. Monday Night Racing will be a new show hosted by Alex Hammond with Jamie Lynch, plus other regular guests. Borrowing the Monday Night Football format from Sky Sports, it will look back at the weekend’s action alongside live evening racing.
